Phlomis - Phlomis herba-venti
Phlomis is a medium spreading tall, greyish-green perennial whose leaves have heart or round-shaped bases. Its flowers are deep pink and are borne in close whorls, one above the other, the lower ones being surrounded by a ruff of upcurling thin tendril-like leaves. It is widespread in dry areas.
