White-leaved bugloss - Echium albicans
White-leaved bugloss is an upright perennial which grows up to 80 centimetres in height and bears attractive, narrow, silver leaves which are basal rosetted below. Its flowers are blue and pink and it is endemic to mountains in Andalucía, mainly a short distance inland from Marbella. Unfortunately roadside strimming by some authorities is reducing the number of plants.
