Age Concern Needs Your Old Mobile Phones

Are you unsure what to do with your old or unwanted mobile phones? Look no further as Age Concern will take them and recycle them safely for you, and raise funds as a direct result.

At the moment we have two collection points – our shop in Calle Zaragoza, Estepona which opens from Monday to Friday 10.00 to 13.30, and The International Club of Estepona who have kindly agreed to help us. More collection points will follow.

So please dig out those old phones and donate them to us.

Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva, Evening Meal

Age Concern is holding its August evening meal on Friday 21st August, 19.30 for 20.00, at Rafael’s renowned restaurant in Calle Caridad, Estepona. The cost, which will include half a bottle of wine, will be less than 20€ per person.

Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva, Future Events

On Tuesday 8th September a charity golf competition will be held at Estepona Golf in aid of Age Concern. The competition will be a 2-ball better ball, Stapleford with a shot gun start. The cost will be 55 Euros which includes a golf buggy and buffet lunch, or why not just come along for lunch at 15€ per person? Teams of 2 are needed as are hole sponsors and raffle prize donations. On Friday December 11th Age Concern will be holding a Christmas dinner and dance at El Paraiso Golf Club. The shop in Calle Zaragoza, Estepona will be closed for staff holidays from Friday 31st July and re-opens on Tuesday 2nd September – better get in and pick up your summer bargains now!

For elderly people who require help or advice Age Concern operate a telephone service called Lifeline. This gives the individual a direct point of contact with the charity.
