Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva, Charity Shop

Now is the time to pick up those last minute summer bargains at our shop in Calle Zaragoza, Estepona, open from 10.00 to 13.30 Monday to Saturday inclusive. The shop closes on Thursday 31st July for the summer holidays so hurry, hurry, hurry along before then. We reopen on Monday 1st September when some of our autumn range will be on display. You know it makes sense to shop with us for high quality clothes at low, low prices!

Age Concern, Evening Meal at The Vines, Estepona

Are you going to be fortunate in getting a place for the evening meal arranged for The Vines restaurant Estepona, for Friday 15th August, 19.30 for 20.00? This is a night not to be missed as the food will be excellent and the company scintillating! The cost is 22€ per person which includes half of a bottle of wine. Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva, Coach trip, 14th September

The 14th September will see a coach load of people visiting the Cartama Sunday market to simply browse and enjoy the atmosphere, or buy those items they have been meaning to for ages. This will be followed by lunch at the renowned El Tintero where you simply take a fancy to the food on a plate being taken round by a passing waiter and ask for it. To pay, the number of dishes you have had are added up and a bill produced. The food is excellent and the experience amazing. The cost is 15€ per person for the coach.

Pick up points are:
The coach will leave Sabanillas at 10.00 stopping at Bahia Dorada Entrada 4 (10.10), Arena beach (10.15), Opposite Estepona bus station (10.25), Benamara (10.40), and San Pedro opposite the bus station (10.50).
The coach will leave El Tintero at 17.00 or earlier if everyone is ready. If interested please ring 951318234 and leave your details.


Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva, Future Events

- On Saturday 4th October Angela has organised one of Age Concern’s famous evening meals at La Salsa in Sabanillas – the cost will be 23€ including all wine/water etc.
- November the 9th is the date set for the next International Residents Party at the Palacio de Congresos in Estepona at which Age Concern will have a stand.
- November 28th and 30th sees the return of The Over 50’s Show to Estepona (Palacio de Congresos) – Age Concern will be running a stand.

For elderly people who require help or advice Age Concern operate a telephone service called Lifeline. This gives the individual a direct point of contact with the charity.
