Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva Press Release – 10th March 2013
Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva, Shop Volunteers
Age Concern runs a very successful charity shop in Calle Zaragoza, Estepona. The shop is open Monday to Saturday from 10.00 to 13.30 and is run, and managed, by volunteers. Age Concern is now appealing for more people to come forward and volunteer to work in the shop as several vacancies have come about due to sickness. The work is fun and rewarding and all we ask of the volunteers is that they give up a few hours of their spare time to help the charity raise funds to assist the volunteers who work in the community with older people. If you are interested give Eileen Dry a call on 608458555, or pop into the shop and have a chat with the Duty Manager. No experience is necessary as training will be given.
Age Concern, Estepona and Manilva, Men’s Jackets
The recent campaign in the shop selling ladies trousers for 1€ was a great success. That campaign is now over but a new one has started selling men’s jackets for only 2€. We are not sure how long it will run for but to snap up a quality jacket at such a low price the advice is – shop now!
