Local resident Pam Young, the 'Mother Teresa of Mali' , has been making a difference in Africa for many years. She singlehandedly drives from Spain to Mali through the Sahara desert a least once each year, and then stays for months developing the village she created from scratch, helping to build the lives and education of the local people.

She's giving a fascinating slide presentation in Los Boliches at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on C/Rueda, off C/Acapulco, the bottom end of which ends in the major Ave. Jesus Santo Rein. Coming from Fuengirola and Marbella, on the A7 (the former N340), it can be reached by taking the slip road to Benalmadena Costa and then immediately following the Los Boliches sign. It's also a 10-15 minute walk from Los Boliches Station.
