Sur in English

The parish church of San Miguel in Calahonda hosted its annual celebratory service in honour of its patron, St Michael. The brotherhood of San Miguel, together with the English and Spanish communities of Calahonda and the neighbouring urbanisations, gathered together for an international celebration. A bi-lingual ceremony in Spanish and English was conducted by the parish priest, Father Ramon Tejero, followed by a procession through Calahonda watched over by local residents and parishoners.
The Mayor of Mijas, Angel Nozal, along with his team of delegates and representatives of each of the governing parties were also present at the celebration, expressing their solidarity by joining in the procession and enjoying a truly international and cultural service with the Mass sung by the choir from Antequera 'Coro Rociero de San Miguel de Antequera'.
