The Welsh Society will be holding a day of celebrations for our national Saint - Saint David - on Friday 1st March 2013 in Plaza Mesquita, Arroyo de la Miel, starting at 12.00 and going on until 8 pm. There will be entertainment on stage all day from some of the best entertainers on the Coast, together with other attractions and welsh delicacies available to eat and drink. The Welsh Society raise funds for Downs Syndrome charities here in Spain and also in Wales, so come along and join us in celebrating St David's Day. All nationalities welcome. Plaza Mesquita can be found just along from the train station in Arroyo de la Miel/Benalmadena.

As a welsh speaking welshman,I am appalled that this important ceremoy is held in Benalmedena rather than in the capital Malaga.. Come on welsh people St David's day ceremony should be held in the most important City i.e Malaga.
